OUR STORY
Marina's Heart began at the shore.
Marina's Heart was founded in the Bronx in 2020 by Brianna Marina Emily Aird:
Marina is her middle name. It was her great-grandmother's name first, and it means 'of the sea.' She carries it as an inheritance. She has come to believe it is also an instruction.
In the homes of this city she learned what becomes of people who are cut off from what restores them. Then she came home to the peninsula and found the water waiting: neglected, patient, still waiting.

THE JUDAH EDITION
A painting by the founder.
Judah carries the spirit of this work. This painting is an edition of forty prints supporting the restoration and community action at the Bronx shore. It is a visual representation of the neighbors, artists, and elders who stand in the breach to protect what restores us.
OUR BOARD
